Just finished 3 amazing days at the London Screenwriters Festival. Met loads of really talented writers, directors and producers and got to pitch my feature to boot! Some really good responses so watch this space!

So I just found out that my short film ‘The Formorian’ is a top ten finalist in the Triggerstreet.com online film festival this year! That’s a nice little Christmas present. Thanks Triggerstreet members for voting for my film:)

Wow – I’m so excited. I just secured the option to one of my all time favourite books as a kid. I’m keeping the title under wraps for now (don’t want to jinx it!) but I’ll keep you updated as I progress with the screenplay and ultimately the film:)

Well last year’s Cheltenham Screenwriters’ Festival was such a hoot how could I pass up the opportunity to volunteer at the first ever London Screenwriters Festival? Same cool networking /workshopping /speedpitching events but this time on my doorstep! Can’t wait to stuff my brain full of screenwriters survival tips and meet lots of cool new people:)

Kinsale Shark Awards – Best New Director Finalist!

So I couldn’t make it over to Kinsale for these prestigious commercial awards but a little bird told me that my Doritos ad ‘Flavour with an Oooo’ got the biggest laugh of all the entries. Pretty good consolation prize me thinks!
